AS Presentations is a service-based firm that provides filmmaking, graphic designing, photography or other video related services. It is based in Gangtok, Sikkim. AS Presentations was co-founded by me and one of my friend. They mostly creates music videos for musicians or singers, documentary film, and short films that has won some of the regional awards.

About the project

This project was one of my initial projects of my career. Not only this project but the whole firm was getting started and it was a new concept with very little market in my locality. There were only few video productions firms, which was mostly very old and outdated. So me and my partner thought of doing something new with new technology and advancement of information. We conceptualized to only making videos for musicians and some short films to get some recognition, and we began our journey of small business owner and new filmmakers. We created one logo and that’s it. The firm is open for business. And also the major problems began to rise.

After 1 month of opening for we got few clients who were ready to work with us. But they could not recognize us and didn’t know who we are, didn’t know what was our goal, and among other things (which was very political). So I started searching for company recognition and how to market ourselves and how to get more high paying clients. In that research marathon of several weeks and days, I got introduced with “Brand Identity and Strategy Design”.

It was an eye opening article so I started going through Brand Design for more days and I was hooked. So I started testing some brand designs with my local vendors who was also my neighbors for free. After 3-4 months of practicing and learning and earning some money or foods or packet of teas, I was pretty confident in making AS Presentations’ brand image and identity. Hence, this project started.
